Job summary

Tekskills Inc. is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer in Mumbai with 7+ years of experience to design and build scalable backend services for complex, data-driven applications.

You will work on microservices, Python FastAPI, REST APIs, event-driven and asynchronous architectures, and you will optimize SQL with thoughtful schema design, indexing, and query tuning. Deployments on AWS/Azure/GCP using Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD and IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation) are expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend experience
• Strong Python FastAPI skills
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems
• REST APIs and event-driven/asynchronous architectures
• Strong SQL – indexing, query tuning, schema design
