Job summary

SoftMaji is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build secure, scalable backend systems for web apps, SaaS products and APIs. You will design backend architecture, develop business logic, manage databases and ensure applications handle growing users and data.

Responsibilities include building REST APIs, database design and optimisation, authentication/authorisation, and collaboration with frontend, AI and DevOps teams. 3–6 years of backend experience required.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of backend development experience in production-grade applications.
• Strong proficiency in PHP and Laravel.
• Experience designing scalable backend architectures and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs.

You will be responsible for designing backend architecture, developing business logic, managing databases and ensuring that our applications can handle increasing users and data.
