Job summary

SequenceDynamics in India is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to architect and build high-scale microservices and data pipelines. You will own APIs, optimize for reliability, and collaborate with AI/ML teams to productionize models.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering with Node.js, Go, or Python.
• Experience designing distributed systems at production scale.
• Strong command of PostgreSQL, Redis, and messaging queues.
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform on AWS or GCP.
• Event-driven architectures and domain-driven design.
• Able to own a technical domain end-to-end with minimal supervision.

We're building infrastructure that runs the backbone of modern businesses — AI-native ERPs, autonomous agent platforms, and high-throughput data pipelines. As a Senior Backend Engineer at SequenceDynamics, you'll architect systems that handle millions of events daily, design APIs that scale without warning, and ensure our platforms stay at 99.9% uptime under load. This isn't a "sprinkle AI on existing code" role. You'll be involved in decisions that shape product architecture from the ground up.

What You'll Do

• Design and own high-performance microservices and event-driven architectures
• Build scalable REST and gRPC APIs consumed by our products and client platforms
• Optimise PostgreSQL/Redis/ClickHouse query performance under multi-tenant load

What We're Looking For
