Aegion AI in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable services that power AI/ML and LLM-powered applications. You will integrate LLMs, AI models, embeddings, and vector databases to build production-ready APIs and microservices.

You will collaborate with ML/AI engineers and product teams to productionize AI capabilities, optimize performance and security, and deliver robust backend systems in a fast-paced startup environment.

Competenze

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with Python/Java/Golang in production.
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience with AI/LLM-based applications.
• Strong understanding of backend architecture, databases, caching, and distributed systems.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and AI/LLM APIs.
