Job summary

Aegion AI in Bengaluru, India seeks a seasoned backend engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Python, Java, and Golang. You will create REST APIs and microservices, integrate AI/LLMs, and work with vector databases, embeddings, and external AI APIs in production environments.

Collaborate with ML/AI teams to deploy AI capabilities at scale while ensuring performance, security, and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python/Java/Golang.
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on experience working with AI/LLM-based applications.
• Good understanding of backend architecture, databases, caching, and distributed systems.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and AI/LLM APIs.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
