Job summary

Infosys in Bengaluru seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for build, test, and deployment automation.

You will automate infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible, manage repositories and release governance, and ensure secure DevOps practices across teams while documenting runbooks and IaC patterns for scalable operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering/Computer Applications (BTECH/BCA/MCA/MTECH) or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Azure DevOps including pipeline creation, release management, and repository practices.
• Strong experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code and managing reusable modules/state.
• Strong experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation of deployment tasks.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD concepts, version control, and automated deployment best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage Azure DevOps repositories, branching strategies, pull request workflows, and release governance aligned to team standards.
• Integrate quality gates such as automated testing, code analysis, and approval workflows into pipelines.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures, deployment issues, and environment inconsistencies; drive root-cause analysis and preventive fixes.
• Collaborate with application teams to onboard services to standardized pipeline templates and IaC modules.
• Implement secure DevOps practices including secrets management, access controls, and least-privilege permissions within Azure DevOps.
• Maintain documentation for pipeline usage, IaC patterns, and operational runbooks to support smooth handoffs and scaling.
