Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a Senior Azure Data Engineer to design, build and deploy large-scale data solutions across Azure services in India, including multiple onsite hubs such as Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai and others.

You will own end-to-end data pipelines, analytics, and lakehouse components using SQL, Python, Spark, and Azure Data Factory/Databricks, collaborating with global teams to deliver reliable, scalable data platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of total experience in data engineering or related fields.
• 4+ years in agile software solution development and data engineering projects.
• 4+ years data analytics experience using SQL.
• 4+ years cloud development and data lake experience on Azure.
• Experience with Python, Spark, and Unix scripting.
• Experience with data platforms: Teradata, Cassandra, MongoDB, SQL Server, ADLS, Snowflake.
• Hands-on with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Blob Storage, Data Lake, Power Apps, Functions, Data Explorer (KQL).
• CI/CD with GitHub, Azure DevOps, Terraform.

Senior Azure Data Engineer

Job Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore / Chennai / Kolkata / Noida/ Gurgaon / Pune / Indore / Mumbai

Skillset

ADF + ADB + UC + Synapse + Serverless Compute + Delta Tables + SQL + PySpark + Python.

Key Requirements

• Overall 10+ Years of total experience
• 4+ years software solution development using agile, dev ops, product model that includes designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications or data engineering solutions
• 4+ years data analytics experience using SQL
• 4+ years of cloud development and data lake experience (prefer Microsoft Azure) including Azure EventHub, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, ASA, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake and Azure Power Apps
• Combination of Development, Administration & Support experience in several of the following tools/platforms required:
• Scripting: Python, Spark and Unix
• Data Platforms: Teradata, Cassandra, MongoDB, SQL Server, ADLS, Snowflake.
• Azure Cloud Technologies: Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, Azure Functions & Azure Data Explorer (KQL)
• CI/CD: GitHub, Azure DevOps, Terraform
