Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Chennai is seeking an Azure Data Engineer to deliver data solutions on the Azure Cloud, focusing on data engineering rather than infrastructure. You will build and maintain data pipelines to harvest data from source systems and create data products.

Responsibilities include coding with U-SQL, Spark, and T-SQL, and developing modern data warehouses using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics to populate data lakes.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering data solutions on Azure cloud.
• Ability to design and maintain data pipelines feeding data products.
• Knowledge of large-scale data warehousing on Azure stack.

As an Azure Data Engineer, you will be instrumental in delivering top-tier solutions on the Azure Cloud, employing core data warehouse tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL DW, and other Big Data technologies. This role emphasizes application-level data engineering rather than infrastructure.
