Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT data and cloud engineering
• 5+ years with Microsoft Azure deployments, administration, and migrations
• Experience with Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Databricks, and Apache Spark
• Skilled in building and optimizing pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and analysis of large datasets
• Experience in migrating on-premises workloads to Azure using Azure Migrate, ASR, Data Factory, and Azure Database Migration Service
• Proficient in SQL, ETL/ELT development, and data modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema)
• Knowledge of cloud networking, identity management, and security best practices
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates, and automation tools
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and DevOps methods

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Azure certifications (Data Engineer, Administrator Associate, or equivalent)
• Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools such as AKS or Docker
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
