Job summary

FIS Global Solutions Philippines, Inc. in Pune is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud and Production Support Engineer with 5-7 years of experience to ensure 24/7 operations for critical trading and collateral services.

You will manage Azure infrastructure, AKS, and on-call support, while driving automation with Terraform and IAM security. This role involves cross-functional collaboration across cloud, dev, and security teams in a fintech setting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Azure: VMs, AKS, storage, networking, SQL, Event Hubs.
• Azure security, Entra ID, RBAC, Key Vault, certificate auth.
• AKS, Kubernetes, Docker: cluster admin, deployments, upgrades.
• Terraform: reusable modules, state management, IaC best practices.
• Linux/RHEL and Windows Server administration, scripting.
• Observability with Splunk, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights.
• Willingness for 24x7 on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Build and troubleshoot Azure infrastructure across compute, networking, storage, databases, containers, and security.
• Provide L2/L3 application and production support for Azure-based services.
• Manage AKS environments: clusters, upgrades, scaling, deployments, production triage.
• Administer Linux/RHEL and Windows Server environments and performance tuning.
• Develop reusable Terraform modules and IaC standards for cloud deployments.
• Maintain Git-based workflows and Harness pipelines for releases and rollbacks.
• Monitor services using Splunk, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Application Insights.
• Troubleshoot TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, TLS, VPN, and load balancers.
• Own incidents from investigation to root cause and corrective actions.
• Automate ops using Shell/Python/PowerShell and Azure CLI.

Senior Azure Cloud and Production Support Engineer – 5-7 Yrs of Experience – 24/7 Support – Pune Location

About the Team

You will join the Securities Finance Trading and Collateral team, supporting business-critical trading and collateral solutions. You will combine Azure cloud engineering, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code and L2/L3 production support to maintain secure, stable and resilient services. You will work across applications, cloud, infrastructure, database, network, security and development functions. Success in this role requires strong troubleshooting, automation, observability and end-to-end ownership of production services.

What You Will Be Doing

• Build, manage and troubleshoot Azure infrastructure across compute, networking, storage, databases, containers, security and integration services.
• Provide L2/L3 application and production support for business-critical services hosted on Microsoft Azure.
• Manage Azure Kubernetes Service environments, including clusters, node pools, upgrades, scaling, deployments and production troubleshooting.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux/RHEL and Windows Server environments, including performance, patching, storage, permissions and connectivity.
• Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules and Infrastructure as Code standards for consistent and reliable cloud deployments.
• Manage Git-based development workflows and Harness deployment pipelines, including releases, environment promotions, AKS deployments and rollbacks.
• Monitor application and infrastructure services using Splunk, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Application Insights.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across applications, Kubernetes, operating systems, databases, messaging, networks and Azure cloud services.
• Troubleshoot TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, proxies, TLS/certificates, VPN/private connectivity and load balancing.
• Own production incidents through investigation, service restoration, stakeholder communication, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Automate operational activities using Shell/Bash, PowerShell, Python and Azure CLI while improving monitoring, security, resilience and production stability.

What You Bring

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in Azure cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering and/or L2/L3 application and production support.
• Strong hands‑on Microsoft Azure experience across Virtual Machines, AKS, networking, storage, Azure SQL, Service Bus and Event Hubs.
• Strong Azure security and identity knowledge, including Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, Managed Identities, Key Vault and certificate‑based authentication.
• Strong AKS, Kubernetes and Docker experience, including cluster administration, upgrades, scaling, application deployments, and production troubleshooting.
• Strong Terraform skills, including reusable modules, providers, variables, state management and Infrastructure as Code best practices.
• Strong Linux/RHEL administration skills, Windows Server knowledge, Git-based workflows and scripting using Shell/Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Strong production support and observability skills using Splunk, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Application Insights.
• Willingness to participate in 24x7 rotational/on‑call support and planned out‑of‑hours production activities.
