Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior AWS DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS cloud services, infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, automating, and optimizing cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, security, and performance. This role requires deep hands‑on experience with AWS, DevOps best practices, infrastructure orchestration, and modern automation tools.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage scalable AWS cloud infrastructure for production and development environments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate provisioning and configuration.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Manage infrastructure deployments, configuration, and automation for cloud‑native services.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.
• Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and best practices across AWS workloads.
• Optimize cloud cost, resource utilization, and performance.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and/or Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
• Troubleshoot cloud, network, and infrastructure issues and provide long‑term solutions.
• Collaborate closely with development, QA, and security teams on architecture and deployment strategies.

Must-Have Skills

• 7+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong focus on AWS Cloud.
• Hands‑on expertise with core AWS services: EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, Lambda, RDS, CloudFront, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS, Route 53.
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of Linux administration, networking, and security best practices.
• Strong experience with Docker and container orchestration (EKS or Kubernetes).
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash, Shell).
• Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet).
• Strong understanding of cloud networking (VPC, Subnets, Gateways, Load Balancers).
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
