Job summary

Cprime is seeking a highly skilled Atlassian Consultant with deep Jira, Confluence, and JSM expertise to design, implement, and optimize enterprise Atlassian platforms. The role combines hands-on administration with automation, migrations, and AI-driven capabilities to boost productivity and governance.

You will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, lead initiatives, mentor teams, and translate complex requirements into scalable Atlassian solutions while maintaining documentation

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on Atlassian experience including Jira, Confluence, JSM.
• Strong Jira administration, automation, and advanced configurations.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence upgrades and large-scale migrations.
• Automation, scripting (Groovy), REST APIs, and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Administer Jira Software, JSM, and Confluence at enterprise scale.
• Design workflows, permissions, fields, dashboards, and reports.
• Build automation using Jira Automation and Groovy scripts.
• Lead platform implementations, upgrades, migrations (Server/Data Center to Cloud).

Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Atlassian Consultant with strong expertise in Jira administration, automation, and AI-driven solutions to design, implement, and optimize enterprise Atlassian platforms. The role requires hands-on experience across Jira Software, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Confluence, combined with advanced automation, migration, and upgrade capabilities. The consultant will work closely with business and technical stakeholders, lead initiatives, and mentor teams while driving efficiency through automation and AI.

What you will do:

• Administer and configure Jira Software, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Confluence at an enterprise scale
• Design and maintain workflows, schemes, permissions, custom fields, dashboards, and reports aligned to business needs
• Build and manage automation solutions using Jira Automation, ScriptRunner (Groovy), REST APIs, and webhooks
• Lead Atlassian platform implementations, upgrades, and migrations (Server/Data Center to Cloud, Cloud-to-Cloud)
• Assess migration readiness, perform data cleanup, manage app compatibility, and validate post-migration outcomes
• Implement and support Atlassian Marketplace apps and third-party integrations
• Leverage Atlassian AI capabilities (e.g., Atlassian Intelligence/Rovo) to improve productivity, search, and reporting
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to admins and consultants; establish governance and best practices
• Act as a trusted consultant to stakeholders, translating requirements into scalable Atlassian solutions
• Create and maintain technical documentation and standards in Confluence

Qualifications and Skills:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management)
• Strong expertise in Jira administration, automation, and advanced configurations
• Proven experience with Jira/Confluence upgrades and large-scale migrations
• Hands-on experience with automation, scripting (Groovy), REST APIs, and integrations
• Exposure to AI-driven features within Atlassian or automation-first delivery models
• Experience with Atlassian Cloud and/or Data Center environments
• Working knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL) is a plus
• Solid understanding of Agile, DevOps, and ITSM frameworks
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills

Education and Certifications (Preferably):

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Automation, scripting, or cloud certifications are an added advantage

Preferred Atlassian Certifications:

• ACP-120 – Jira Administration for Cloud
• ACP-100 / ACP-610 – Jira Administration (Server/Data Center)
• ACP-420 – Managing Jira Service Projects
