Vialto is seeking a professional for a full-time role focused on compliance with tax regulations and optimizing tax processes for employees on international assignments.

The position requires reviewing US individual income tax returns, managing the engagement team, and providing leadership to associates. Candidates should have 2-4 years of experience in US Individual Taxation and excellent communication skills.

Location available in Bangalore and Kolkata.

Formación

• 2-4 years experience in US Individual Taxation in a recognized firm or Big4.
• Experience reviewing US Tax Returns for at least 12-18 months.
• Prior experience interacting with Foreign offices.

Job Summary

In this position, your role is essential in upholding compliance with tax regulations and optimizing tax processes for employees on international assignments. This position is key in handling the tax consequences of global mobility and facilitating a smooth transition for employees across different countries. Your main objective is to reduce tax-related risks and costs, while ensuring that both the organization and its employees adhere to relevant tax laws.

Job Description

• Review all types of US individual income tax returns.
• Demonstrate a high level of proficiency of tax technical knowledge.
• Manage the engagement team – Set performance measurements and ensure that performance goals, including engagement economics, turnaround time and quality targets are met.
• Identify and lead new services that the service line can perform at the VVN.
• Develop, mentor, and supervise Associates & Specialists.
• Demonstrate leadership and executive presence.
• Communicate progress and project status to all stakeholders.
• Knowledge of the firm policies related to confidentiality and data privacy, client acceptance and engagement letters, tax return preparer guidelines and knowledge-sharing.
• Adhere to practice protocol and other internal processes consistently.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualification: Commerce Graduate/Postgraduate, MBA.

• Experience: 2-4 years in US Individual Taxation in a recognized firm or a Big4.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Sound technical knowledge with respect to US Individual taxes.
• Should have experience reviewing US Tax Returns for least 12-18 months.
• Should have prior experience interacting with Foreign offices and assigned.
