Vialto is hiring a Senior Associate for US GMS in Bengaluru/Kolkata to review US individual tax returns and provide expert tax guidance. You will lead engagement teams, mentor staff, and drive new services while upholding confidentiality and process standards.

The role demands strong communication, solid US tax knowledge, and experience with inter-office collaboration. A robust background in US taxation within a recognized firm or Big4 is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of US individual taxation experience in a recognized firm or Big4.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong US tax technical knowledge.
• Experience reviewing US tax returns for 12–18 months.
• Experience interacting with foreign offices.

Responsabilités

Job Description

• Review all types of US individual income tax returns.
• Demonstrate a high level of proficiency of tax technical knowledge.
• Manage the engagement team -Set performance measurements and ensure that performance goals, including engagement economics, turnaround time and quality targets are met.
• Identify and lead new services that the service line can perform at the VVN.
• Develop, mentor, and supervise Associates & Specialists.
• Demonstrate leadership and executive presence.
• Communicate progress and project status to all stakeholders.
• Knowledge of the firm policies related to confidentiality and data privacy, client acceptance and engagement letters, tax return preparer guidelines and knowledge-sharing.
• Adhere to practice protocol and other internal processes consistently

Qualifications and Experience

Qualification: Commerce Graduate/Postgraduate, MBA

• Experience: 2-4 years in US Individual Taxation in a recognized firm or a Big4.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Sound technical knowledge with respect to US Individual taxes.
• Should have experience reviewing US Tax Returns for least 12-18 months.
• Should have prior experience interacting with Foreign offices and assigned
