Job summary

BDO India seeks a Chartered Accountant (CA) or ACCA with audit experience to lead end-to-end audits from planning to reporting in line with our methodologies and regulatory requirements. The role involves direct client liaison and collaboration with UK-based audit engagement teams.

Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of accounting and auditing standards, experience with UK market or offshore models, and exposure to group audits within professional services.

Role & responsibilities:

Skillset Required:

• End-to-end audit experience, including planning and scoping, risk assessment, walkthroughs and TOCs, substantive audit procedures, and completion requirements.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards (exposure to IFRS or UK GAAP will be added advantage).
• Experience with UK market or any other offshore model will be added advantage.
• Experience working on group audit or professional services industry clients will be added advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and English fluency.

Desired Candidates

• Qualified CA with atleast 1-year post qualification experience preferably from Big 10s (if articleship from mid-sized firms) Or ACCA members with 2 years experience in Big10s
