Job summary

MSKA & Associates in Pune invites a Senior Associate to join its IT Risk & Assurance practice. You will lead ITGC, SOX 404, and SOC 1/SOC 2 engagements for diverse clients, ensuring high-quality delivery and strong client communication.

The role requires 3+ years in IT risk / ITGC, solid MS Office skills, and a willingness to mentor junior staff. MBA or BTech/BE with CISA preferred. This is a full-time position based in Pune.

Qualifications

• Graduate or postgraduate qualification; MBA, BTech or BE preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant IT risk / ITGC experience.
• Experience with ITGC, SOX 404, SOC 1/SOC 2, IT application controls.

Responsibilities

• Execute client engagements in ITGC, process reviews, IT Application Controls, SOX 404 and SOC 1/SOC 2.
• Identify engagement risks and escalate issues as appropriate.
• Build and strengthen client and internal relationships; mentor junior staff.
• Identify potential business opportunities for the firm on existing engagements; be a proactive team player.
• Prioritize multiple assignments, manage ambiguity, and maintain high-quality delivery.
• Demonstrate strong presentation and communication skills; proficient in MS Office.
• Communicate with clients and colleagues with transparency and integrity.
• Lead engagement teams and articulate findings to senior client management.
• Uphold high personal integrity and work ethics with minimal supervision.

• Responsible for executing client related engagements in the areas ITGC, process reviews, IT Application Controls, standard operating procedures review, SOCR (SOC 1, SOC 2), SOX 404 Determine that the work delivered is of high quality.
• Anticipate and identify engagement related risks and escalate issues as appropriate.
• Actively establish & strengthen client (functional heads & key influencers) and internal relationships. Assist seniors & managers in developing new methodologies and internal initiatives.
• Create a positive learning culture, coaches, counsels and develops junior team members.
• Identify & escalate potential business opportunities for the firm on existing client engagements. Should be a team player with a proactive and result oriented approach
• Ability to prioritize, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity.
• Should have good presentation & communication skills. Should also be well versed with MS office tools.
• Should be open and honest in communication with clients and colleagues.
• Managing engagement teams for optimum delivery, ability to articulate findings and convincing mid to senior level client management and coaching & mentoring staff on the engagements.
• High on personal integrity and work ethics and can be trusted without micro-level supervision from seniors

Qualified- Any graduate / Post Graduate - MBA, BTech/BE. (Preferred CISA or equivalent certifications)
