Job summary

Collins Aerospace is hiring for a SAP S/4HANA–focused role to harmonize ERP processes across the business and support blueprinting, build, and hypercare phases. The candidate will work with cross-functional teams to design and implement SAP-based solutions aligned with RTX operating model best practices.

The role requires 4+ years of hands-on SAP experience in Order-to-Cash, contract lifecycle management, and strong data mapping abilities. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on SAP experience supporting Order-to-Cash processes including configuration, testing, data management, and production support.
• Experience supporting contract lifecycle activities including contract creation, amendments, funding management, milestone-based billing, and invoice generation.
• Understanding of SAP SD integration with FI, AR, Revenue Recognition, Tax, and Project Systems; able to create specs, process docs, data migration support.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.

The OneRTX Process & Systems Transformation Program will harmonize key business processes, associated tools, metrics, and reporting across the company, enabling the migration of capabilities into standardized ERP systems. RTX has chosen SAPs S/4HANA to enable our future ERP system and has largely concluded the strategic definition and design phase and is now entering the initial blueprinting, build and support phases.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and digital team members and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide guidance on utilizing the ERP system effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that leveraging S/4HANA, enhancing our workstream processes in alignment desired RTX operating model and industry best practices.
• Support the creation of new and innovative solutions to support digital and business strategies and common design aspirations.
• Assist data team and process teams in data mapping activities and testing.
• Document common solutions, including configuration documents, process flows and data policies.
• Deliver functional specifications for any forms, reports, enhancements, conversion programs, integrations and workflows deemed in scope of the workstream as part of program.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on SAP experience supporting Order-to-Cash business processes, including system configuration, testing, data management, and production support activities. Strong functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Contract Management, Billing, Invoicing, Pricing, and Order-to-Cash processes.
• Experience supporting contract lifecycle activities including contract creation, amendments, funding management, milestone-based billing, and invoice generation.
• Understanding of SAP SD integration with Finance (FI), Accounts Receivable, Revenue Recognition, Tax, and Project Systems. Experience supporting functional testing, defect resolution, cutover activities, and hypercare support. Ability to create functional specifications, process documentation, business process flows, and support data migration activities. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills. Experience supporting large-scale ERP transformation or SAP S/4HANA implementation programs preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.

This position is classified as:

• Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
• Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
• Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employees personal responsibility.

Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through University Degree combined with experience. Practical knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.

Engineering/Other Technical Positions:Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics(STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
