Job summary

EXL is seeking a payroll specialist in Bengaluru to support end-to-end US payroll processing (bi-weekly) and international payroll. You will work with ADP and Workday, handling timesheets, taxes, 401K, garnishments, and employee queries with strong MS Excel skills.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of payroll experience and solid knowledge of social security, Medicare, and federal/state tax compliance. This role requires hands-on processing and cross-functional collaboration within the team.

Qualifications

Job description

End to end US payroll process knowledge. Excellent knowledge on end-to-end US payroll (Bi-weekly) processing and on international payroll. Hands on experience in Payroll processing, specifically on ADP and Workday, for at least 1 year.

• Handle social security, Medicare, federal, state, FUTA/SUTA taxes
• Timesheet and Vacation Hours calculation & adjustment
• Knowledge on payroll journal entries
• Processing of 401K
• Handling Employee queries through emails
• File transfer (Company code transfers)
• Excellent knowledge on Garnishments/tax levies
• Overall work experience should be more than 2 years
• Strong PC skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly strong in MS Excel & Word
