BTVK Advisory in Bengaluru seeks an experienced accounting professional to provide support across accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger activities for multiple client engagements.

With 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience and familiarity with QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, Bill.com, CaseWare or Ramp, you will help with month-end close, reporting, and client communications while maintaining high accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • 3+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience.
  • Experience with ERP/accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, Bill.com, CaseWare or Ramp.
  • Strong understanding of accounting, bookkeeping and payroll principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and cloud-based accounting tools.
  • Willingness to work occasional overtime during peak periods.

  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities while ensuring accuracy and timely completion of deliverables.
  • Prepare client reports and financial statements, including complex engagements involving multiple entities and nonprofit reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to support client deliverables and maintain high-quality service standards.
  • Proactively communicate work progress, identify issues, and seek clarification when needed to ensure efficient engagement execution.
  • Respond to accounting and software-related inquiries while escalating complex matters appropriately.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders through proactive communication and collaboration.
  • Identify opportunities where clients may benefit from additional technologies, process improvements, or service enhancements.

Maintain and expand knowledge of accounting principles, nonprofit accounting practices, and applicable technology platforms. Stay current with updates to accounting systems and support ongoing technology adoption and process improvements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience preferred.
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, Bill.com, CaseWare, Ramp, or similar ERP/accounting platforms preferred.
  • Strong understanding of accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll principles.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, consistency, and quality.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies, systems, and processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
  • Client-focused mindset with the ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and cloud-based accounting technologies. Flexibility to support occasional overtime during peak periods as needed.
