Job summary

TIAA Global Capabilities in Pune, India, is seeking a senior Cloud Architect to design and implement scalable cloud platforms focused on AWS networking, security, and automation. You will collaborate with stakeholders to align cloud strategy with business goals, lead IaC initiatives using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, Ansible, and Python, and guide cross-functional teams across projects.

This role requires 7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise cloud environments, strong problem-solving

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions.
• Experience with cloud automation, IaC and deployment of enterprise-scale infrastructure.
• Strong AWS networking knowledge including VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, and at least one modern language.
• Knowledge of cloud governance and security best practices.

• Collaborate with stakeholders on the strategic cloud vision and recommend new solutions.
• Design and develop cutting-edge cloud platform architectures.
• Ensure scalable, on-demand cloud resources for business applications.
• Perform infrastructure updates and identify improvements.
• Troubleshoot complex network and connectivity patterns across cloud environments.
• Communicate updates to management and integrate new systems with existing operations.
• Mentor and delegate work to IT professionals to ensure timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Collaborate with various stakeholders on the strategic vision for the enterprise leveraging cloud, managed solutions and traditional capabilities; make recommendations on new solutions and technologies
• Designs and develops new, cutting edge cloud platform within the organization, including secure and scalable network architectures leveraging AWS networking constructs such as VPC, VPC Service Endpoints, Transit Gateway, Route 53, Security Groups, and Route Tables
• Ensures cloud platform allows business applications to transform into scalable, elastic systems that can be created on demand
• Performs hardware and software infrastructure updates and identifies improvements with the cloud infrastructure
• Designs and troubleshoots complex network flow patterns across cloud-to-cloud and cloud-to-on-premises connectivity, utilizing VPC Flow Logs, Transit Gateway Flow Logs, and on-premises firewall logs to diagnose and resolve traffic and connectivity issues
• Communicates with management to provide updates and ensure integration of new system with existing operations to support the organization's cloud strategy
• Coaches, reviews, and delegates work to lower-level information technology professionals to ensure high-quality and timely completion of projects
