Job summary

Amgen Inc. in Hyderabad seeks a skilled MacOS/JAMF Engineer to manage enterprise Apple devices using JAMF and other MDM solutions. You will configure, secure, deploy, and support macOS systems and automate workflows via JAMF API and scripting.

Qualifications

• Master's or bachelor's degree plus 5–9 years in a MacOS Engineer or Systems Administrator role.
• JAMF 200/300 or higher certification.
• Familiarity with Apple Business Manager, DEP, and VPP.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools related to mobile app deployment.
• Experience in enterprise macOS within regulated industries and security/compliance frameworks.

In this vital role we are seeking a skilled and proactive macOS/JAMF Engineer with hands‑on experience managing mobile and Apple devices using JAMF and other Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions. This role is responsible for configuring, securing, deploying, and supporting enterprise macOS systems to ensure seamless and secure device operation across the organization. The ideal candidate will also have a solid background in automation with JAMF API, scripting and app integration to improve mobile infrastructure performance and streamline deployment processes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Administer and manage Apple devices using JAMF Pro and other MDM platforms.
• Design and implement mobile device configurations, policies, and profiles to support business needs.
• Develop automated workflows for device provisioning, software deployment, patching, and compliance checks.
• Integrate third‑party and internal applications with MDM tools for seamless app delivery and management.
• Collaborate with developers and IT teams to build or support custom scripts, APIs, and internal apps tailored for the mobile environment.
• Monitor and support mobile infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
• Ensure mobile devices align with corporate security and usage policies.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture, SOPs, and deployment guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mobile device deployments, applications, and integration workflows.

Basic Qualifications and Experience:

• Master's degree / bachelor’s degree and 5 to 9 years in a MacOS Engineer or Systems Administrator role.
• JAMF 200, 300, or higher certification.
• Familiarity with Apple Business Manager, DEP, and VPP.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools or platforms related to mobile app deployment.
• Background in enterprise macOS within regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance).
• Experience with security and compliance frameworks in mobile environments.

Professional Certifications:

• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) for Teams (preferred)
