Job summary

Morgan Stanley in Mumbai seeks a Data Integrity transformation specialist to lead data governance, automate workflows and build scalable reporting. You will partner with IBD/GCM COO, Data Integrity, Technology, Risk and Compliance to embed AI-enabled solutions into BAU while maintaining high control standards.

You will collaborate with global teams, drive improvements in data quality and efficiency, and deliver executive-ready updates with crisp roadmaps and performance metrics.

Qualifications

  • Experience in data integrity, COO, operations transformation, MIS / reporting, risk and control, client data in financial services.
  • MBA / PGDM in Finance, Data Analytics, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Practical experience using GenAI / AI productivity tools to improve workflow quality, speed or standardization.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver Data Integrity transformation initiatives across client data, interaction requests, VIS / reporting workflows, contact maintenance, D2 / SharePoint intake, and governance processes.
  • Assess current-state processes, identify root causes of risk, manual effort and control gaps, and convert them into practical automation, Power BI, workflow or AI-enabled solution opportunities.
  • Build, enhance and maintain management reporting using Power BI, Excel, SharePoint and other approved firm tools, including dashboards for volumes, SLAs, quality checks, exception themes and capacity trends.
  • Design and implement agentic / AI-assisted use cases using approved platforms like Agentrix with human review and governance.
  • Use data-driven analysis to measure impact, including productivity saves, cycle-time reduction, quality improvement and adoption of new solutions.
  • Promote a transformation mindset and identify GenAI / automation opportunities while ensuring data security and oversight.
  • Operate with strong judgement around confidential information, MNPI, data security and controls.

Key Responsibilities

the Data Integrity team in Mumbai as a transformation-focused individual contributor. The role is designed for someone who can combine strong data integrity, operational control and stakeholder management experience with hands-on capability in Power BI, AI tools and agent-building platforms to reduce risk, improve quality and create measurable efficiency. The candidate will work closely with global IBD/GCM COO, Data Integrity, Technology, Risk and Compliance stakeholders to simplify processes, automate manual workflows, build scalable reporting and embed responsible AI-enabled solutions into BAU.



  • Own and deliver Data Integrity transformation initiatives across client data, interaction requests, VIS / reporting workflows, contact maintenance, D2 / SharePoint intake, and related governance processes.

  • Assess current-state processes, identify root causes of risk, manual effort and control gaps, and convert them into practical automation, Power BI, workflow or AI-enabled solution opportunities.

  • Build, enhance and maintain management reporting using Power BI, Excel, SharePoint and other approved firm tools, including dashboards for volumes, SLAs, quality checks, exception themes and capacity trends.

  • Design and implement agentic / AI-assisted use cases using approved platforms such as Agentrix or equivalent internal agent-building tools, with appropriate human review, governance and controls.

  • Use data-driven analysis to measure impact, including productivity saves, cycle-time reduction, quality improvement, error reduction and adoption of new solutions. Support senior stakeholder updates through crisp executive-ready materials, including weekly / monthly updates, issue summaries, decision papers and transformation roadmaps.

  • Promote a transformation mindset within the team by challenging legacy ways of working, identifying practical GenAI / automation opportunities and helping colleagues adopt new tools responsibly.

  • Operate with strong judgement around confidential information, MNPI, data security, access controls, model / tool limitations and the need for clear human oversight.


Skills Required


  • 2 -8 years of relevant experience in data integrity, business management, COO, operations transformation, MIS / reporting, risk and control, client data, investment banking support or similar financial services functions

  • MBA / PGDM in Finance, Data Analytics, or another quantitative / business discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Practical experience using GenAI / AI productivity tools to improve workflow quality, speed or standardization, with awareness of responsible usage, review standards and policy boundaries.

  • Ability to build or help configure AI agents, workflow assistants, prompts, knowledge-based tools or automation solutions using approved enterprise platforms.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with global teams and senior management

  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Team player with a strong work ethic and motivation to learn

  • Ability to quickly grasp key concepts and take ownership of deliverables

  • A strategic and logical mindset with a creative edge to support management initiatives
