Job summary

DBS Bank Ltd Regional Office Mumbai seeks an analytics professional to perform data analysis, define problem statements with business and product teams, and create dashboards to drive performance. You will work with regional and local counterparts to align metrics and support management meetings.

You will design and test ML experiments, deploy models to production, and help improve customer experience through data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Must have analytics experience with data-driven solutions.
• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Statistics, Analytics, Applied Mathematics, OR Operations Research or equivalent quantitative field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Structure, define and execute data analysis to uncover insights and inform decision making for digital bank.
• Engage with business and product teams on problem formulation and create solution framework.
• Collaborate with regional & local counterparts to define and align performance metrics.
• Support ad-hoc data requests for management meetings.
• Formulate requirements and work with data engineering and technology team to develop and validate automated data pipelines for business performance dashboards.
• Design A/B test experiments to test model effectiveness and identify target segments.
• Drive testing and deployment of ML products into production.
• Understand product journeys and help business improve customer experience.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Requirements

Non-technical Experience

• Should have full understanding of at least one Banking Product
• Strong academic background
• Should be self -motivated, adaptable, focused & well organized
• Should possess a creative bent of mind and should be a strategic thinker

Technical Experience

• 3-7 years of experience in Data Science/Analytics (Consumer Banking, Ecommerce, Retail, Telecoms) with demonstrated track of generating value through data driven solutions
• Should have full understanding of applications of DS/ML/AI solutions to various business problems
• Proficiency in using databases like Teradata, NoSQL and Hadoop using SQL, Hive, PySpark, etc.
• Programming experience in Python, R, PySpark, TensorFlow or other machine learning oriented programming languages/platforms
• Good understanding of technology tools especially those related to analytics, data & modelling
• Ability to communicate complex analysis/models across a diverse team
• Good written and oral communication skills.

Education / Preferred Experience

• B.Sc./ M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Statistics, Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Operation Research, or equivalent quantitative fields preferred.
• Prior Working experience of Analytics is must
