Infovision Labs in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a Senior Associate Cyber Security Engineer to strengthen our security operations and defense posture. The role involves implementing SIEM/EDR/IAM, monitoring events, and assisting with incident response while growing technical depth.

You will manage identity lifecycles, coordinate vulnerability remediation, and help secure both on‑premises and cloud environments. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field; relevant work experience acceptable.
• 1 cloud certification: AWS Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals or Google Cloud Digital Leader.
• 3–5 years in cyber security, SOC, IAM, or related roles.
• Familiar with logging/monitoring, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, access controls.
• Understanding of networking, OS (Windows/Linux), and cloud platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to follow processes.

Responsabilidades

• Implement, configure, and maintain security tools (SIEM, EDR, IAM, vulnerability scanning).
• Monitor and triage security events; assist incident response using playbooks.
• Support identity lifecycle activities: provisioning, deprovisioning, access reviews.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation with tech partners.
• Assist secure configuration, patching, and hardening across on‑prem/cloud env.
• Contribute to security automation and tool integrations under guidance.
• Collaborate with Technology teams to secure designs and operations.
• Document and share knowledge; drive continuous improvement in Cyber Security.

Summary

The Senior Associate Cyber Security Engineer supports the protection of the organization's systems,applications,and data by implementing and maintaining security capabilities across cyber operations, identity and access management (IAM), security monitoring, and cyber defense functions. This role works closely with senior engineers and Technology partners to support day-to-day security operations while continuing to build technical depth and professional expertise.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Networking, Information Technology; or a related field or relative work experience
• 1 cloud certification- AWS cloud practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals or Google Cloud- Cloud Digital Leader
• 3-5 years of experience in cyber security, security operations (SOC), IAM, cyber defense, or a related technical role including credential lifecycle, password rotation, session management/recording, least privilege, JIT/JEA and break-glass access
• Familiarity with common security concepts, tools, and practices (e.g., logging and monitoring, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, access controls)
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and cloud platforms
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to follow defined processes while learning to operate independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Possession of industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, and/or cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security)
• Experience in Cybersecurity areas such as strongDM, PAM transformation, cloud-native workloads and DevOps/CI/CD privileged access. non-human identities

Roles and Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions

• Implement, configure, and maintain security tools (SIEM, EDR, IAM, vulnerability scanning, logging) following defined standards and guidance from senior engineers. - (25%)
• Monitor, analyze, and triage security events and alerts; support incident investigation, containment, escalation, and remediation using established playbooks. - (20%)
• Support identity lifecycle activities including access provisioning, deprovisioning, privileged access processes, and periodic access reviews. - (15%)
• Perform vulnerability assessments, analyze findings, and coordinate remediation efforts with Technology and Engineering partners. - (15%)
• Support secure configuration, patching, and system hardening across onprem and cloud environments using defined benchmarks. - (10%)
• Contribute to security automation, tool integrations, and operational workflow improvements under guidance. - (5%)
• Partner with Technology teams to support secure design, implementation, and operation of systems and applications. - (5%)
• Participate in documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Cyber Security team. - (5%)
