Job summary

Siemens invites a seasoned Controlling and Finance Assurance professional to help provide independent foresight and drive high-impact audits across global business units.

You will identify risks, design audits, and develop digital use cases with the data analytics team, while traveling up to 50% and collaborating with senior leaders. The Grow and Development Model supports lifelong learning and career progression within Siemens.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in industries similar to Siemens or Big 4 audit/consulting.
• Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and adapt to remote-working culture.

Responsibilities

• Identify key risks in Siemens’ operations and finances and interpret results for management.
• Design and implement audits to address identified risks.
• Enhance and challenge existing audit techniques.
• Develop digital use cases with the data analytics team to increase coverage.
• Drive assurance objectives during fieldwork with interviews and evaluations.
• Present conclusions and recommendations to senior management.
• Build networks across Siemens businesses and functions.
• Participate in audits within other CF A practices.
• Conduct audits using CF A’s agile methodology.

You’ll Make a Difference By

• Identify key risks in Siemens’s operational and financial environment and develop an understanding of business processes, goals, and strategy to provide analysis and interpretation to management.
• Design and implement comprehensive audits to address the identified risks.
• Enhance and challenge existing audit techniques.
• Develop and promote digital use cases that increase coverage and overall assurance in cooperation with our data analytics team.
• Independently drive assurance objectives during fieldwork, including partner interviews and technical evaluations.
• Participate in meetings with senior management to present your conclusions and recommended improvements.
• Maintain and build your network in various Siemens businesses and functions.
• Make use of the unique chance to participate in audits within other practices in CF A.
• Conduct your audit engagements using CF A´s agile audit methodology.

Your Defining Qualities

• Strong academic background including an Accountancy degree (Chartered Accountants preferred), master’s degree in finance and/or Business.
• 8+ years of experience in industries similar to Siemens (Project business, Manufacturing, Product business) or comparable experience within Siemens, or a ‘Big 4’ accounting or consulting firm – Statutory Audit or Financial due diligence preferred.
• Necessary skills, experience, and motivation to develop out of Controlling and Finance Assurance department within 5-8 years and move into a business role at Siemens.
• Commitment to continuous learning and education.
• Demonstrated history of career advancement.
• Ability to continue an accelerated career track.
• Fluency in English along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to travel up to 50% (including internationally) as well as to live/embrace our remote-working culture.
