Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Graduate with 2+ years of experience in US Healthcare Accounts Receivable to join our India team in Chennai. You will initiate calls to obtain status, contact insurers for denials, and take action to ensure timely resolutions while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Candidate should have strong English communication, 25 WPM typing, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, including night shifts. MS Office experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have strong English spoken communication and reading/writing skills.
• 2+ years of experience in US Healthcare AR.
• Must be willing to work night shifts.
• Typing speed 25 WPM or above.
• Good organizational skills with timely follow-up.
• Ability to multi-task and analyze health care claims processing.

Responsibilities

• Initiate calls requesting status of claims in queue.
• Contact insurance companies for explanations of denials and underpayments.

What You Will Do:

• Initiate calls requesting status of claims in queue.
• Contact insurance companies for further explanation of denials and underpayments
• Take appropriate action on claims to guarantee resolution.
• Ensure accurate and timely follow up where required.
• Document actions taken in claims billing summary notes
• To prioritize the pending claims for calling from the aging basket
• To make a physical call by following the international norms and applicable rules for confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Responsible for working on Denials, Rejections, LOA's to accounts, making required corrections to claims.
• Shall understand and abide by the organizations' information security policy and protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all information assets.
• Shall report incidents related to security of information to concerned authorities.

What You Will Need:

• Must be a Graduate
• Strong English spoken communication skills and also required reading and writing
• Must have 2 + yrs of experience in US Healthcare stream in AR
• Willingness to work night shifts
• Typing speeds of 25 WPM or above
• Good organizational skills demonstrating the ability to execute timely follow-up.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Excellent analytical skills with understanding of health care claims processing.
