Job summary

Think Talent Services is seeking a data analytics professional to turn data into actionable insights. You will own analytics operations, build trackers and dashboards, and automate tasks using Excel, Power BI, and Python.

You’ll work on simplifying processes, improving data quality, and delivering client-ready insights. Strong Excel, SQL, Python, and BI experience are required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, statistics, mathematics, economics, or related fields.
• Strong Excel skills: lookups, pivots, Power Query, macros.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data handling and automation.
• Exposure to BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Comfort with AI tools and spotting incorrect outputs from AI.
• Clear communication to explain numbers and insights.
• High learning agility and adaptability to changing processes.
• Ability to ask good questions, understand problems deeply, and work independently.

About the role

Think Talent Services helps organisations make better talent assessment, development, promotion, and leadership decisions. Our in‑house platform and data analysis capabilities are the backbones to enable these decisions.

As part of Analytics & AI/Automation Centre of Excellence, were looking for someone analytical, curious, and quick to learn-someone who can turn data into insights, understand business processes, and improve them through automation.

What you'll do

Own key analytics operations, including:

• Pulling and preparing data using SQL and other sources
• Building trackers, dashboards, and reports
• Creating Excel utilities, Power BI dashboards, and Python/AI automations
• Simplifying, standardising, and automating processes

We want someone who sees a four-hour process, understands the process needs & constraints deeply, and searches for ways to make it take four minutes - without compromising quality.

How the role grows

First 2 weeks:

Shadow the team and take ownership of existing analytics operations.

By month 3:

Understand our data end-to-end and contribute to in-platform analytics.

By month 6:

Handle client customisations independently and identify opportunities & implement standardisation, modularisation, and AI/Python enablement.

What we're looking for

• Degree in engineering, statistics, mathematics, economics, or anything that makes you feel eligible for the role (certifications, hobby projects etc.)
• Strong Excel skills-lookups, pivots, Power Query, macros - plus SQL and Python
• Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools
