Job summary

Bain & Company is seeking a Senior Associate for the BCN PEG Americas to own AI products end to end, from scoping to production and adoption. You will work with senior engineers, data scientists, and consulting teams to rapidly prototype and scale AI solutions, including multi-agent and LLM-powered tools.

The role sits at the intersection of AI development and full-stack engineering, delivering end-to-end features with modern tech in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in full stack software engineering with 1–2+ years shipping GenAI apps.
• Hands-on experience delivering production-grade web apps end-to-end.
• Experience owning a product or major feature and communicating with non-technical stakeholders.
• Exposure to fast-paced, ambiguous environments; consulting or innovation teams preferred.
• Professional english proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own AI products end to end from scoping through production and adoption.

BCN Private Equity Group CoE at Bain & Company provides specialized support to global teams across the private equity value chain, enabling clients to make key investment decisions. Our expertise lies in addressing critical diligence questions through a range of products such as survey analytics, digital diagnostic, workforce analytics and disruption assessment. Our teams work in a fast-paced environment delivering consistent and impactful results at scale. In the last decade, we have witnessed an exponential growth, reaching >250 members today from ~10 members in 2013. We operate from 3 locations – 2 in India and 1 in Poland, and operate across all 3 regions (EMEA, Americas and APAC). What you’ll do

We are looking for a talented and driven Senior Associate – BCN PEG Americas - Alpha Agentic Factory to join the Bain Capability Network. You will own AI products end to end, from technical scoping through production, building the next generation of AI-powered products and intelligent workflows that transform how Bain's global consulting teams work.

This role sits at the intersection of cutting-edge AI development and full stack engineering. You will work alongside senior engineers, data scientists, and consulting teams to rapidly prototype and scale AI solutions — from LLM-powered applications to agentic systems — in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

• Build and integrate LLM-powered features: RAG pipelines, AI agents, and intelligent workflows
• Develop GenAI capabilities including prompt engineering, embeddings, memory systems, and evaluation
• Implement backend services in Python (FastAPI) to support AI applications
• Develop responsive, high-quality frontend interfaces using React and TypeScript
• Collaborate on designing multi-agent architecture and orchestration systems

• Build and maintain scalable APIs and microservices to power AI applications
• Ensure production-quality, well-tested, maintainable code across the stack
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud deployments
• Rapidly prototype AI-powered tools and MVPs to validate ideas with consulting teams
• Iterate quickly on feedback and help scale successful prototypes to production
• Experiment with emerging AI frameworks, models, and techniques
• Own AI products end to end, from technical scoping and architecture through build, launch, adoption, and iteration
• Engineering support for pilot AI tools on casesrequirements, solution options, effort estimates, and delivery plans
• Partner with senior engineers and architects to align technical directions
• Participate in agile delivery cycles, sprint planning, and technical reviews

About you:

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in full stack software engineering, including 1-2+ years building and shipping LLM/GenAI applications
• Hands-on experience building and shipping production-grade web applications end-to-end
• Experience owning a product or major feature, including technical scoping, estimation, and delivery with non-technical stakeholders
• Proven track record of working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments — startups, consulting, or innovation teams preferred
• Exposure to private equity, management consulting, or data-driven business environments is a plus

Technical Skills — Required
