Job summary

NTT DATA Global Delivery Services Ltd in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior AI Security Architect to own security architecture for enterprise AI/ML, GenAI, and related platforms across AWS, Azure, GCP and private/hybrid clouds.

You will define guardrails, secure SDLC/MLOps, establish zero trust and data governance, and lead threat modeling with industry frameworks. The role requires deep security expertise and strong collaboration with Legal and Risk teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cybersecurity, cloud/app security or security architecture.
• 3+ years securing AI/ML/GenAI solutions in production.
• Hands-on architecture across cloud-native, Kubernetes, API/microservices and identity platforms.
• Familiarity with AI/security tooling such as promptfoo, garak, PyRIT, Giskard, Guardrails AI, NeMo Guardrails/Llama Guard, LangChain/LlamaIndex/LangSmith, SIEM/SOAR, CNAPP/CSPM/CWPP and SAST/SCA/DAST/container/IaC scanners.
• Strong stakeholder communication; able to create threat models, security standards, risk papers and executive-level trade-off recommendations.
• Preferred: CISSP/CCSP/CISM/SABSA/TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP security certification, AI governance/security training.

Responsibilities

• Define target-state security architecture, guardrails and design patterns for LLM/RAG/agent workloads from prototype to production.
• Lead AI threat modeling using STRIDE/PASTA plus OWASP LLM Top 10, MITRE ATLAS and NIST AI RMF.
• Embed security in SDLC/MLOps/LLMOps: secure CI/CD, IaC policy-as-code, model/data approvals, prompt versioning, SBOM/AI BOM, release gates.
• Design controls for IAM/PAM, Zero Trust, API gateways, network segmentation/private endpoints, secrets/KMS/HSM, encryption, DLP, content safety, tenant isolation and data authorization.
• Design AI controls across AWS, Azure, GCP and private/hybrid cloud: identity/least privilege, encryption/KMS/HSM, content safety/guardrails, data governance, logging and monitoring.
• Establish AI red-teaming/evaluation covering jailbreaks, prompt injection, adversarial inputs, data leakage and tool misuse; track remediation.
• Define observability and SecOps for prompt/model/API telemetry, SIEM/SOAR integrations, guardrail events and audit logging.
• Drive governance with Legal/Risk/Data teams: policy, model cards, vendor assessments, data retention, audit trails and compliance mapping.

We are currently seeking a Senior AI Security Architect to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

SENIOR AI SECURITY ARCHITECT

Locations: Bangalore/Chennai/Delhi NCR/Pune/Hyderabad.

Role Purpose

Own the security architecture and controls for enterprise AI/ML, GenAI, RAG and agentic platforms across AWS, Azure, GCP and private/hybrid clouds. Enable safe adoption by translating AI risks into reusable guardrails, reference designs, secure SDLC/MLOps/LLMOps controls and measurable risk reduction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define target-state security architecture, guardrails and design patterns for LLM/RAG/agent workloads, model serving, data pipelines and AI APIs from prototype to production.
• Lead AI threat modeling using STRIDE/PASTA plus OWASP LLM Top 10, MITRE ATLAS and NIST AI RMF; address prompt injection, sensitive data disclosure, poisoning, model extraction, supply-chain risks, vector/embedding abuse, excessive agency and unbounded consumption.
• Embed security in SDLC/MLOps/LLMOps: secure CI/CD, IaC policy-as-code, model/data approvals, prompt versioning, SBOM/AI BOM, signed containers/models and release gates.
• Design controls for IAM/PAM, Zero Trust, API gateways, network segmentation/private endpoints, secrets/KMS/HSM, encryption, DLP, content safety, tenant isolation and RAG data authorization.
• Design equivalent secure AI controls across AWS, Azure, GCP and private/hybrid cloud: identity/least privilege, network isolation, encryption/KMS/HSM, content safety/guardrails, secure MLOps/LLMOps, data governance, logging, monitoring, incident response, compliance automation and cost/abuse controls.
• Establish AI red-teaming/evaluation covering jailbreaks, prompt injection, adversarial inputs, data leakage, tool misuse, unsafe outputs, privacy and abuse cases; track remediation.
• Define observability and SecOps for prompt/model/API telemetry, anomaly detection, SIEM/SOAR integrations, guardrail events, audit logging, AI incident runbooks and tabletop exercises.
• Drive governance with Legal/Risk/Data teams: policy, model cards, vendor assessments, data retention, audit trails, risk exceptions and compliance mapping (ISO 27001, SOC 2, ISO/IEC 42001, EU AI Act where applicable).
• Review product designs, HLD/LLDs, vendor proposals and architecture decisions; influence engineering teams without creating unnecessary delivery friction.

The AI Security Architect should be able to define baseline, or “floor-level,” security principles, standards, guardrails, and reference controls for the overall AI practice or platform. These controls should establish the minimum mandatory security posture while allowing individual projects to strengthen or extend them gracefully based on their specific risk profile, regulatory requirements, data sensitivity, and deployment context.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• 10+ years in cybersecurity, cloud/app security or security architecture; 3+ years securing AI/ML/GenAI solutions in production.
• Working knowledge of LLMs, embeddings/vector databases, RAG, agentic workflows, function/tool calling/MCP, model training/fine-tuning/inference, data lineage and model evaluation.
• Hands-on architecture across cloud-native, Kubernetes/container, API/microservices and identity platforms; comfortable with OAuth2/OIDC, mTLS, RBAC/ABAC, WAF/API gateways, secrets and key management.
• Familiarity with AI/security tooling such as promptfoo, garak, PyRIT, Giskard, Guardrails AI, NeMo Guardrails/Llama Guard, MLflow, LangChain/LlamaIndex/LangSmith, SIEM/SOAR, CNAPP/CSPM/CWPP and SAST/SCA/DAST/container/IaC scanners.
• Strong stakeholder communication; able to create concise threat models, security standards, risk papers and executive-level trade-off recommendations.
• Preferred: CISSP/CCSP/CISM/SABSA/TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP security certification, AI governance/security training, and regulated-industry experience.
