Job summary

Ascendion Engineering is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design and deliver scalable AI-powered cloud solutions on Azure. You will work across AI models, embeddings, and RAG techniques to enable production-grade intelligent features.

The role requires strong programming skills (Python/ C#/ Node.js), IaC with Bicep or Terraform, and a focus on DevOps, security, and enterprise data governance. You will tackle complex distributed systems and contribute to reliable platform engineering.

Qualifications

• 7-8 years of experience in cloud or platform engineering.
• Deep hands-on Azure expertise: Functions, App Service, Azure AI Document Intelligence, Azure AI Search, and Azure OpenAI.
• Strong understanding of large language models, embeddings, RAG, prompts and context management.
• Experience with agent frameworks such as LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen or similar.
• Proficiency in Python, C#, or Node.js.
• IaC experience with Bicep or Terraform.
• Strong DevOps, platform reliability, and application security mindset.
• Knowledge of AI compliance, responsible AI practices, privacy, and enterprise data governance.
