Job summary

FAFF, a Bangalore-based consumer-tech company, is seeking an experienced AI/ML engineer to build and deploy AI agents and agentic workflows for real-world use cases. You will own AI problem statements end-to-end, from understanding the problem to production deployment, designing reliable systems with LLMs, tools, retrieval, and memory.

The role requires strong Python skills, hands-on experience shipping AI/ML systems, and deep knowledge of GenAI/LLMs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or a closely related engineering role.
• Current or previous experience at a product-based company.
• Strong hands-on experience building and shipping AI/ML systems.
• Experience building AI agents, agentic workflows, tool-calling systems, or similar applications.
• Strong understanding of LLMs and their practical application in production.
• Strong programming skills, preferably in Python.
• Ability to take an ambiguous problem statement and go deep to find and implement a solution.
• Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, evaluation, prompt engineering, or model integration.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Candidates with only surface-level exposure to GenAI/LLMs/Agents will not be a good fit.

Responsibilities
