Oracle NetSuite seeks a seasoned software engineer to join our Hyderabad team working on cloud services. You will tackle complex backend challenges, design scalable architectures, and collaborate with product, UX, and QA to deliver new capabilities while preserving existing systems.

You should bring 5+ years in software development, deep knowledge of Java, SQL, and CI/CD, plus strong communication and mentoring skills.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of software development experience with a proven track record of making technical decisions.
• Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and system design.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Expertise in Java, including multithreading and concurrency.
• Experience writing SQL queries and performance tuning.
• Strong experience with complex SQL and data-driven applications.
• Experience designing complex solutions and providing architectural input.
• Experience writing test plans, CI/CD, and automated UI tests using Selenium or similar.
• Familiar with Git and version control practices.
• Knowledge of testing pyramid, code coverage, and security testing.
• Experience with automation frameworks and designing automation frameworks.
• Committed to continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
• Ability to lead and coach engineers; agile in project execution.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and scrum team experience.
• Excellent communication in technical and non-technical contexts.
• Experience with Advanced HTML: HTML5, CSS3, XHTML, JSP.
• Experience in product-based companies is a plus.

Responsabilidades

Qualification / Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience with a proven track record of making technical decisions
• Deep understanding of core computer science concepts such as algorithms, data structures, and system architecture/design.
• Great problem-solving skills.
• Expertise in Java, including advanced concepts such as multithreading, concurrency, collections and object-oriented design principles
• Experience in writing SQL queries and prefer to have experience in performance tuning.
• Expertise in understanding/writing of complex SQLs, DB concepts and should have extensive experience with data-driven applications.
• Expertise in designing complex solutions, providing architectural inputs on team-wide projects and also perform technical analysis, feasibility check.
• Expertise in writing test plans, CI/CD tools, testing of UI aspects of the web applications and developing automated scripts using any of the automation tools like Selenium or similar.
• Expertise in defining branching strategies for the team based on the project's requirement. Also, should have rich working experience with version control systems like GIT.
• Expertise in code reviews and promote good coding practices within the team.
• Good familiarity with testing pyramid, code coverage, continuous integration, performance and security testing.
• Exposure to various automation frameworks, performance and security testing and ability to design automation framework based on the project need.
• Keeps himself up-to-date in technology & processes, leads knowledge sharing strategies.
• Expertise in coaching and mentoring engineers at various levels of experience.
• Should be agile in project execution and able to shift gears based on the project needs.
• Demonstrates technical leadership across team project.
• Experience as a member of a scrum team.
• Excellent communicator in both technical and non-technical contexts.
• Experience in Advanced HTML skills: HTML5, CSS 3, XHTML, JSP would be an added advantage
• Experience working with a product based company would be an added advantage.
