Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Application Developer with strong experience in modern web development and API-driven architectures. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in React development and Python backend/API development, with additional exposure to handling data integration, data processing, and scalable application design. This role involves collaborating across teams to design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade applications that drive business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end applications using React.js with focus on performance, usability, and scalability.
• Implement and maintain backend services and APIs using Python (Flask, Django, or FastAPI) to support data-driven business processes.
• Integrate with databases, data lakes, and external APIs to ensure smooth application data flows.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to design application components that facilitate data ingestion, transformation, and reporting.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring clean architecture patterns.
• Engage in code reviews, unit/integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines to maintain code quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the stack in a timely manner.

Mentor junior developers and contribute to improving coding standards, documentation, and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4–5 years hands-on experience in React.js, building dynamic and responsive web applications.
• 4 years experience in Python development, with focus on API design, services, and application integration.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and modern application architecture.
• Hands-on experience with at least one relational database (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and working knowledge of data query optimization.
• Familiarity with state management frameworks (Redux, Context API) and component-driven design.
• Version control using Git and practical knowledge of CI/CD workflows.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with ability to collaborate in complex, cross-functional environments.

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)

• Experience with data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, or AWS Redshift).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS) including serverless and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to GraphQL or asynchronous communication frameworks.
• Knowledge of data integration and pipelines.
• Experience in performance tuning both frontend and backend applications.
