Job summary

Med-Metrix is seeking a Senior Application Developer to design, develop, and maintain software solutions on the .NET stack. You will create applications from scratch, configure existing systems, and provide user support, collaborating with internal teams to ensure high-quality delivery.

You will write clean, scalable code using .NET languages, work with Angular (v19+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3, and participate in SDLC documentation, testing, and deployment.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 10-15 years’ experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer.
• Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. MVC).
• Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET).
• Solid experience with front-end technologies, particularly Angular (v19+) and TypeScript, along with HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience working with Infrastructure Support Systems (ISS).
• Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC).
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization.
• Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions.

Job Purpose

The Senior Application Developer will collaborate with our internal teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions and .NET framework. The Senior Application Developer will be responsible for creating applications from the ground up, configuring existing systems, and providing user support.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements analysis
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
• Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
• Test and deploy applications and systems
• Revise, update, refactor and debug code
• Improve existing software
• Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
• Use, protect and disclose patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards
• Understand and comply with Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures at all times
• Limit viewing of PHI to the absolute minimum as necessary to perform assigned duties

• Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)

• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization
• Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses

Working Conditions

• Work Setup: Remote
• Work Schedule: Mondays – Fridays 9AM – 5PM EST (Night Shift)
• Must possess a smart-phone or electronic device capable of downloading applications, for multifactor authentication and security purposes
• Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to move around the work area; Sit; perform manual tasks; operate tools and other office equipment such as computer, computer peripherals and telephones; extend arms; kneel; talk and hear
• Mental Demands: The employee must be able to follow directions, collaborate with others, and handle stress
• Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal
