Job summary

Alter Domus is seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer with strong C#.NET, SQL, RESTful APIs expertise to design and build scalable APIs and cloud-native services. You will architect microservices, leverage Docker and Kubernetes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

A solid background in OOP, SOLID, and patterns is required, along with Agile practices and cloud deployment experience. The role suits candidates with 6–10 years in software development, preferably with financial services

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 6–10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of OOP concepts, SOLID principles, design patterns and architecture.
• Experience with Microsoft .NET Framework (C#) and SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Experience in Agile development and with Git, Azure DevOps.
• Experience in cloud deployment to Kubernetes clusters / AWS EKS.
• Financial Services domain knowledge is a plus.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Developer with a strong background in C#.NET, SQL, RESTful APIs, and designing/architecting APIs. You will play a crucial role in designing and developing internal and customer-facing APIs, ensuring high performance and scalability.

Responsibilities:

• Create and manage RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless integration with various systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust .NET applications and services.
• Architect and implement cloud-based solutions that meet business requirements.
• Utilize SQL for database design, management, and optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Implement microservices architecture to enhance application modularity and scalability.
• Leverage Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration of applications.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver customer‑centric solutions.
• Ensure code quality through best practices, code reviews, and testing.
• Assist in the packaging and delivery of finished software products to clients
• Communicate with technical and business leaders on business requirements, system-related capabilities, programming progress, and enhancement status
• Work with other teams to develop a good understanding of the overall business process and make sure the final development effort meets real‑life requirements.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 6-10 years of relevant experience
• Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast‑paced environment to meet client deadlines.
• Strong organizational, and analytical skills, problem‑solving skills and high attention to detail.
• Highly developed written and strong oral communication skills.
• Flexibility in working hours according to business needs.
• Strong understanding of OOP concepts, SOLID principles, design patterns and architecture.
• Experience working with Microsoft. NET Framework (C# language), Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL (including programming stored procedures and functions)
• Strong technical and organizational skills
• Candidate should be analytical and detail‑oriented, as well as team‑oriented, but also be able to work independently
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Exposure to Git, Azure DevOps
• Experience in Cloud Deployment to Kubernetes clusters/AWS EKS
• Good to have domain knowledge in Financial Services
