Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Senior Angular Developer to join a multi-city team in Chennai, Kolkata, or Pune. The role targets 6+ years of experience in front-end development and a strong command of Angular 7+ and related technologies.

The candidate will design high-quality UI deliverables, lead a geographically distributed team, and ensure code quality through Jasmine-based test coverage. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tech is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Angular 7+ and front-end technologies.
• Proficient in HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, Jasmine.
• Experience with JSON, Bootstrap, and responsive web design (RWD).
• Familiar with Jenkins, Bitbucket, JIRA, and Agile terms.
• Proven ability to lead and review code for distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Design high-quality UI deliverables aligned with business requirements and standards.
• Create UI code coverage using Jasmine or equivalent framework.
• Technically lead and mentor a geographically distributed team of developers.
• Review code written by juniors and drive continuous improvement.
• Be flexible for adhoc work and eager to learn new technologies.
• Propose innovative concepts and process improvements.

Role: Senior Angular Developer

Desired Experience Range: 6+ years

Location: Chennai, Kolkata, Pune

Roles Responsibilities-

• Candidate must have knowledge in Angular 7+, HTML5, CSS3 or SASS or SCSS, Javascript, Typescript, Jasmine, JSON, Bootstrap, RWD
• Candidate is good to have knowledge in jQuery, JSP, Jenkin, BitBucket, JIRA, Agile terms, MongoDB, Basic of Microservices
• Design high quality deliverables adhering to business requirements with defined standards and design principles, patterns.
• Create UI code coverage for the project using jasmine or any other framework as per the standards.
• Technically lead and groom a team of developers who might be geographically distributed. Need to review the code developed by juniors.
• Flexible to do adhoc work and ready to learn any technologies.
• Expecting more on providing innovative concept, process improvements, poc's etc.
