• Coordinate with on-shore team to maintain relationships with business unit finance teams and head office functions for VAT reporting.
• Prepare VAT returns and review European indirect tax returns.
• Review indirect tax returns prepared by external consultants for international locations.
• Support projects on VAT claims/reclaims and process enhancements.
• Build controls and perform reconciliations of nominal accounts to ensure expenses align with system reports.
• Prepare journals for various business areas.
• Ensure compliance and governance with audit trails; update process documentation.
• Foster cross-training and constructive stakeholder rapport.
• Demonstrate a positive risk, compliance and control culture in the business area.
