Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and ensure accuracy and timeliness of client deliverables.
  • Adhere to service level deliverables and home location standards.
  • Train new hires and cross-train team members.
  • Understand financial products (equities, bonds) and instruments; relate to markets.
  • Own and resolve complex queries; support daily BAU activities.

Role

The role of Senior Analyst - part of Entitlements, requires good understanding of various investment instruments like Equities, Fixed Income Products, Repos, and Reverse Repos etc. Core responsibilities include processing/reconciliation activities of corporate action events, performing secondary approval, escalation & queries management, placing high emphasis on accuracy, timeliness and client servicing. The position requires experience and in-depth knowledge of security service industry and financial instruments

General
  • Monitor and ensure accuracy and timeliness of Client deliverables.
  • Monitor & adhere to all service level deliverables.
  • Adhere to the best practice and monitor the standards as agreed with the home location
  • Ability to train the new hire and cross training
Process Management
  • Good understanding of financial products such as equities, bonds etc.
  • Maintain technical knowledge around the securities industry and instruments, understanding how they function as it relates to the markets, and integration with our other operation areas and client deliverables.
  • Adherence to procedures, SD's & REMS policies.
  • Ability to act as a process expert, own and resolve complex queries and issues not only of self but also for the team.
  • Assisting partners on daily BAU so that team is able to meet the deadlines.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Generates ideas for operational efficiency and assesses impact
  • Reduce rework and errors in line with measurable targets.
Client Management
  • Engage with internal clients and other partners across the enterprise to resolve escalations, inquiries, incidents and challenges as quickly as possible
Risk Management
  • All risk parameters are met while performing secondary approval activities.
  • Identifying the Risk & elevate to TC & TL within stipulated time.
Information Management
  • Hold/Participate regular meetings/huddles to keep staff informed on items relating to the department and global practice.
  • Pro-actively communicate the procedure updates to the team. Ensures that all DPADs/BCP are kept up to date at all times
  • Escalate issues which may have a significant impact on client satisfaction with the appropriate sense of urgency.
