Job summary

Gridlines is a rapidly growing financial modelling consultancy that helps clients make complex financial decisions quickly and with confidence. We are seeking an experienced analyst passionate about financial modelling and driven by growth, to work with a team of modelling professionals to create, analyse and optimise complex models.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in a financial analysis role within a recognized advisory practice or large corporate setting.
• Good appreciation of accounting concepts.
• Understanding of Project Finance concepts.
• Strong analytical skills with a foundation in building and operating financial models in Excel.
• Degree in a numerate discipline; postgraduate in accounting or finance beneficial.
• Experience with the FAST financial modeling standard desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support financial model audit assignments with accuracy and client expectations.
• Use a combination of software checks and parallel model development to identify modelling errors.
• Take ownership of specific assignments and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of our financial modeling methodologies and tools, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
• Prepare comprehensive model documentation detailing assumptions, methodologies, and results.
• Maintain meticulous records of modeling processes and methodologies to uphold our high standards and ensure consistency.
• Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
