Job summary

Inizio Ignite | STEM is seeking a Senior Analyst to lead analytics workstreams for life sciences clients. You will apply advanced analytics, coding, and modelling to solve complex business problems, and develop high-impact deliverables and dashboards that support strategic and operational decisions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with a major in quantitative science (e.g., engineering, data science, statistics) and strong problem-solving ability.
• Senior Analyst: Master’s degree plus 1–2 years of relevant work experience or PhD.
• Experience processing and analyzing large datasets with SQL and Python/R/SAS; advanced Excel skills (Power Query, VBA) a plus.
• Strong foundation in statistics and machine learning, including hypothesis testing and model evaluation.
• Experience with cloud-based data environments (AWS, Azure, Snowflake) and BI dashboards.
• Proficiency in BI and data visualization (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense) to translate analyses into insights.
• Experience with healthcare or life sciences data (claims, EHR, lab, Rx etc.) and omnichannel analytics is a plus.
• Ability to independently structure analyses, manage priorities, and communicate clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Experience in global/hybrid team settings and collaborating across geographies.

Position Summary

As anInizioIgnite Senior Analystyou will be a core member of client engagement teams, leading sophisticated analytics workstreams and owning the development of high-impact analytical deliverables. You will apply advanced analytical, coding, and modelling skills to solve complex business problems for life sciences clients, while contributing to methodological best practices across the data analytics team.

A significant portionof this role will focus on commercial analytics and business intelligence, including marketing and sales analytics, real-world data analysis (e.g., claims and EHR), and the design and delivery of dashboards and data visualizations that support strategic and operational decision-making.

In this role, you will work closely with case team leadership to design and execute analytics approaches, translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical plans, and communicate insights clearly to both internal stakeholders and clients.

• Demonstratedexpertisein processing andanalyzinglarge datasets using SQL and Python/R/SAS; strong Excel skills (e.g., Power Query, VBA) a plus, with experience applying these skills to commercial analytics use cases such as marketing performance, sales effectiveness, patient journeys, and market dynamics
• Strong foundationin statistical analysis and machine learning, including hypothesis testing, supervised and unsupervised learning, and model evaluation
• Experience working with cloud-based data and analytics environments (e.g., AWS,Azure,Snowflake)
• Proficiencyin business intelligence, dashboarding, and data visualization using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense, with the ability to translate analytical results into clear, decision-ready insights
• Experience working with real-world healthcare and life sciences datasets (e.g., claims, EHR, lab, provider,Rx,and payer data; sources such as Komodo, IQVIA, Symphony, Truven, Optum, Flatiron), particularly in commercial and market-facing analytics contexts; familiarity with omnichannel commercial analytics (e.g., HCP engagement, marketing mix, channel performance) is a plus
• Ability to independently structure analyses, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality work under tight timelines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Experience working effectively as part of hybrid teams across multiple geographies,demonstratingstrong collaboration, adaptability, and comfortoperatingin a global consulting environment
