Job summary

Accelya is seeking a Senior Analyst - Data Analytics in Mumbai to deliver advanced analytics, build statistical models and generate data-driven insights that steer business decisions.

You will lead analytics projects, collaborate with product and commercial teams, and leverage Databricks, Snowflake and AWS to drive AI-accelerated outcomes in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of analytics experience with advanced statistical methods.
• Expert Python analytics skills and ML-based analytical approaches.
• Experience with cloud analytics platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, AWS).
• Strong data storytelling and stakeholder communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced analytical models using Python for airline commercial and operational use cases.
• Apply statistical methods including regression, time series analysis and A/B testing.
• Utilize Databricks AI, Power BI AI and GitHub Copilot for AI-accelerated analytics.
• Build self-service analytics assets including curated datasets and notebooks.
• Use generative AI for analytical reporting, presentation content and insights.
• Partner with product and commercial teams to design experiments and measurement frameworks.
• Lead analytical projects from scoping through delivery, managing stakeholders.

Role Purpose

As Senior Analyst - Data Analytics at Accelya, you will deliver advanced analytics, developing statistical models and data-driven insights that drive business performance and inform strategic decisions.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop advanced analytical models using Python (pandas, scikit-learn, statsmodels) for airline commercial and operational use cases
• Apply statistical methods including regression, time series analysis and A/B testing to business problems
• Use Databricks AI, Power BI AI and GitHub Copilot for AI-accelerated analytics and intelligent insight surfacing
• Build self-service analytics assets including curated datasets, analytical notebooks and reusable visualisation components
• Use generative AI (Claude, ChatGPT) for analytical reporting, presentation content and data insight communication
• Partner with product and commercial teams to design analytically-grounded experiments and measurement frameworks
• Lead analytical projects from scoping through delivery, managing stakeholder requirements

Required Experience & Skills

• 3–5 years of analytics experience with advanced statistical methods
• Expert Python analytics skills and experience with ML-based analytical approaches
• Experience with cloud analytics platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, AWS)
• Strong data storytelling and stakeholder communication skills

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Experience with Databricks AI or AWS SageMaker for AI-accelerated analytics workflows
• Use of generative AI (Claude, ChatGPT) for analytical reporting, insight communication and business case development
• Knowledge of airline technology analytics — including revenue management analytics, pricing data and airline customer behaviour patterns
• Familiarity with how leading providers including PROS AI and FLYR use AI-powered analytics in airline technology
