Job summary

Accenture India Private Limited seeks a Capital Projects Management Sr Analyst to oversee and implement effective project planning, risk assessment, cost management, and scheduling activities for power generation, transmission, and distribution projects. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engg.
• PM/ Risk Management / Cost Control certification (preferred).
• Project risk analysis and mitigation planning.
• Cost estimation and variance analysis.
• Scheduling and critical path analysis.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (CEA, CERC, state utilities).
• Data-driven reporting and analytics.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in power utility / EPC / transmission & distribution / generation projects.
• Hands-on experience with project controls, risk assessment, and cost management systems.
• Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel-based cost models experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and define project activities, logic links, milestones, and dependencies.
• Establish project baselines and manage schedule updates, revisions, and re-baselining processes.
• Monitor project progress, critical path activities, and milestone achievement.
• Conduct schedule health checks, variance analysis, delay analysis, and recovery planning.
• Support resource loading, forecasting, and productivity monitoring.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and executive project performance reports and dashboards.
• Develop and analyse S-curves, Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics, CPI, and SPI.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders to obtain schedule inputs and progress updates.
• Identify schedule risks, constraints, and opportunities and recommend mitigation actions.
• Support governance reviews, stage-gate approvals, and change control processes.
• Maintain project controls documentation, planning procedures, and planning standards
