Job summary

Janes, a defence-focused analytics company, seeks an India-based senior analyst with C4ISR expertise to join its team in Bengaluru. You will deliver data-driven insights, support customers, and contribute to webinars and written analysis on EW and comms systems.

You will collaborate with colleagues in India and the UK, perform primary research, ensure data currency, and check imagery related to C4ISR platforms, while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Purpose

Janes is seeking an India-based senior analyst with experience in Command, Control, Communications, Computers Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems and data analysis techniques to join their team.

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will provide subject matter expertise on C4ISR systems including Electronic Warfare (EW) and communication systems to customers, the business and wider stakeholders. This will include updating data, contributing to webinars including research, creation, and delivery, and writing news stories relevant to your subject.
• Undertake primary research and analysis of C4ISR systems.
• Take responsibility for ensuring the currency of our records, delivering high quality analysis and data for our global customers.
• The candidate will also be responsible for checking and updating imagery illustrating those systems.
• Play a customer-facing role, engaging directly with customers to provide insights, answer queries, and support their intelligence needs.
• The new analyst will work closely with a team of experienced analysts in India and the UK, and our international news team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of military C4ISR systems.
• Strong communicators with fluent written and spoken English skills, ideally with a background in technical research.
• Comfortable working with structured specifications and in data-rich environments.
• Proven interest in the defence sphere; specific training will be provided.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, including ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
