Job summary

EY Consulting in Mumbai is seeking a Senior Analyst for Financial Services - Business Consulting Risk, CNS - Risk - Process & Controls. The role focuses on strengthening control environments for clients in the financial services sector through testing, audits, and risk assessments.

The candidate will work within EY’s Risk domain, collaborating with teams to identify control gaps, execute control testing, and support remediation efforts while aligning with global best practices and regulatory

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Internal Audit, with a strong understanding of audit planning, execution, and issue tracking.
• Proficient in performing Risk and Compliance assessments to identify control gaps and support remediation efforts.
• Experience in supporting process and controls reviews, including testing of key controls and preparation of audit deliverables.
• Exposure to insurance domain concepts is preferred to strengthen risk evaluation in client environments.
• 1+ years in control testing related activities

The areas of focus include Enterprise risk and resilience, Internal audit, Compliance and Internal controls Technology Risk - helps clients to achieve sustainable growth by supporting their efforts to protect their business performance and by providing trusted communications on internal control and regulatory compliance to investors, management, regulators, customers and other stakeholders. EY teams accomplish this by assessing the technology risks that are introduced to businesses. Financial Services Risk - helps clients in the financial sector to identify, manage and monitor the risks in their business. It is done through a transformative and agile approach including process and procedures, risk, data modeling and analytics, reporting to stakeholders and third parties, business requirements (for software selection and IT implementation), analysis of assets and liabilities, and capital and liquidity management.

Your Key Responsibilities

Technical Excellence

• Demonstrated experience in Internal Audit, with a strong understanding of audit planning, execution, and issue tracking. Proficient in performing Risk and Compliance assessments to identify control gaps and support remediation efforts. Able to apply general consulting skills to analyze business processes, evaluate risks, and document control observations. Experience in supporting process and controls reviews, including testing of key controls and preparation of audit deliverables. Exposure to insurance domain concepts is preferred to strengthen risk evaluation in relevant client environments.
