Key Responsibilities
Insights & Analytics (Core Focus)
- Analyze business performance across stores, eCommerce, and operations to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Translate data into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders by using statistical and advanced analytics techniques.
- Build and maintain dashboards/BI reports in Tableau, Microstrategy, and performance tracking frameworks.
- Partner with business teams to answer key questions and drive decision-making.
AI-Enabled Solutions
- Build insights assistants (e.g., store performance Q&A tools).
- Automate reporting and analysis workflows.
- Enhance speed and depth of analysis.
- Apply prompt engineering and AI workflows to improve output quality and usability.
Data & Integration
- Work with data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Datalake, EDP) to extract, transform, and analyze data.
- Collaborate with data/engineering teams to ensure data availability and quality.
- Enable AI solutions using structured data sources.
Business Partnering
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., stores, merchandising, marketing, operations).
- Present insights and recommendations in a clear, compelling way.
Required Skills
- 4-6 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data-driven roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Expert with SQL and data platforms (Snowflake preferred).
- Experience with visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Microstrategy).
- Proficiency with statistical programming tools such as Python.
- Strong knowledge of statistical techniques, including regression models, time-series analysis, clustering, and other predictive analytics methods.
- Hands‑on experience with GenAI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini) in a business context.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, data modeling, and automation.
- Proven ability to translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex insights clearly and concisely.
- Experience building AI-powered workflows or copilots (Copilot Studio, Power Platform, etc.).
- Familiarity with prompt engineering and AI use case design.
- Basic knowledge of APIs or automation tools.
- Retail / consumer business experience (strong plus).
- Basic knowledge on retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) or vector‑based search techniques.
