Northern Trust Corp’s Pune office is seeking a detail-oriented Investment Operations Associate to support securities setup and trading-system maintenance. You will corrections, updates, and workflow improvements in a high-stakes financial environment.

Based in Pune, you will collaborate with global teams, handle complex processing, and mentor junior staff while ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in any field.
• Experience in investment operations or trading support is preferred.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Sets up securities in trading systems and handles new accounts.
• Updates trading systems for ID changes and factor updates.
• Fixes errors, cancels/re-bills, and resolves partner claims.
• Executes complex activities with significant financial impact.
• Interacts with committees and senior management.
• Mentors junior staff and shares SME knowledge.
• Manages daily ops and supervises junior colleagues.

Corrects errors, execute cancel re-bills, investigate and work through claims from trading partners 4. Carries out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact 5. May have direct interaction with committees and/or Senior Management 6. Able to serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior level employees 7. May manage daily operational activities and supervise day-to-day work of junior level employees (but not a formal management role) 8. More technically sound in area of expertise and has broader knowledge of other areas 9. Delivers a work product that requires less revision 10.
