Job summary

eClerx Financial Markets is seeking a Senior Analyst for Security Claims settlements in Mumbai. The role focuses on accurate daily settlement processing, adherence to internal controls, and proactive collaboration with stakeholders to highlight opportunities for improvement and resolve issues efficiently.

The candidate should have 2–4 years of settlements/OTC derivative experience, with a solid understanding of finance, trade life cycle, and derivatives.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in Settlements and OTC derivative.
• Basic knowledge of finance, trade life cycle, investment banking and derivatives.
• Logical and quantitative abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily claims settlement with accurate, timely processing per internal controls.
• Understand ISITC, ICMA, TMPG & ISDA guidelines; knowledge on CSDR beneficial.
• Research and resolve problems related to failed trades.
• Maintain daily workflow documentation for compliance.
• Interact with external clients on failed trade queries.
• Experience in monitoring Euroclear, DTCC and other settlements platforms.
• Monitor local market instruction and matching on international trades.
• Collaborate with settlements team to resolve trade breaks and fails.

The ability to take proactive actions and willingness to take up responsibility beyond the assigned work area is a plus.

Security Claims settlements- Senior Analyst - Responsibilities

• Responsible for all components of the daily claims settlement, ensuring accurate and timely processing, through adherence of internal control policies and procedures
• Better understanding of ISITC, ICMA, TMPG & ISDA Guidelines
• Information on CSDR guidelines would be an added advantage
• Research and resolve problems relating failed trades
