Job summary

Orion Innovation is seeking a Senior AI Solution Architect in Mumbai, India to lead AI/GenAI solution design, pre-sales engagements, and client delivery. You will craft compelling proposals, demos, and governance frameworks while guiding a team of architects and engineers to deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in solution architecture, AI/ML, or data platforms.

• Proven pre-sales experience: RFP responses, PoVs, workshops, and deal support.
• Strong portfolio of sales/marketing assets (whitepapers, solution blueprints, reference architectures).
• Hands-on expertise with AI/GenAI stacks and governance frameworks.

Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior AI Solution Architect with deep expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI (GenAI) to drive solution design, pre-sales engagements, and client delivery. The ideal candidate combines technical excellence with strong business acumen, enabling them to design innovative solutions, craft compelling sales collateral, and confidently engage with executive stakeholders. This role requires proven experience leading teams, shaping solution strategy, and responding to complex RFPs in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Sales & Client Engagement

• Lead RFP/RFI responses with compelling technical and business narratives.
• Collaborate with sales teams to design and present solution proposals, demos, and workshops.
• Create sales collateral such as whitepapers, PoV decks, and solution blueprints tailored to industry needs.
• Engage with C-suite executives and business leaders to evangelize AI/GenAI solutions and shape client roadmaps.

Solution Architecture & Delivery

• Define end-to-end AI/GenAI architectures, including model selection, training pipelines, RAG, multi-agent systems, governance, and observability.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and compliant AI solutions.
• Partner with engineering teams to ensure successful design-to-delivery handoff.
• Establish frameworks for AI governance, compliance, and responsible AI practices.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Manage and mentor a team of solution architects, data scientists, and engineers.
• Drive knowledge sharing across practices through playbooks, reusable accelerators, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (cloud, data, security, domain SMEs) to build integrated solutions.

Key Skills

• 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, AI/ML, or data platforms, with at least 3–5 years in AI/GenAI initiatives.
• Demonstrated pre-sales experience: RFP responses, PoVs, workshops, and deal support. is a must
• Strong portfolio of sales/marketing assets (whitepapers, solution blueprints, reference architectures).
• Hands-on expertise with AI/GenAI stacks (e.g., LangChain /LangGraph, CrewAI, OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure AI, AWS Bedrock, Databricks).
• Understanding of AI governance and compliance frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, Microsoft RAI Maturity Model).
• Proven team leadership experience, including mentoring and managing architects/engineers.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in consulting, pre-sales, or solutioning for Fortune 500 clients.
• Exposure to industry verticals (finance, healthcare, retail, insurance, etc.).
• Familiarity with multi-agent architectures, advanced RAG, and LLMOps pipelines.
• Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and/or AI/ML specializations.
