Job summary

Title: Senior AI Engineer

Location: Whitefield, Bangalore

Work Time: UK Shifts (1.30 pm - 10.30 pm)

Job Description:

Key responsibilities

• Build production GenAI solutions: RAG pipelines and AI agents using any one of Semantic Kernel, LangGraph, AutoGen or LlamaIndex.
• Apply LLM evaluation, guardrails and prompt strategies; tune for latency and throughput.
• Deploy on a major cloud (Azure preferred: Azure ML, Azure OpenAI).
• Review code and set engineering standards.

Solution architecture

• Turn business needs into AI architectures across data, models and workflows.
• Select suitable LLMs/SLMs and deployment approaches (API, fine-tuning, orchestration).
• Design with security, compliance and governance in mind.
• Integrate solutions with the clients existing IT estate.

Estimation, proposals and cost

• Support sales with solution plans and proposals; own the technical sections.
• Produce effort, timeline and cost estimates, including AI token and compute costs.
• Run feasibility checks and proofs of concept.

Technical leadership and delivery

• Guide engineers and data teams through implementation.
• Present designs and trade-offs to clients and internal stakeholders.

Required skills and qualifications

• 610 years in software or data engineering, with 4+ years in AI/ML and at least one production AI/GenAI system delivered.
• Hands-on with LLMs, RAG and agent frameworks (any one of Semantic Kernel, LangGraph, AutoGen, LlamaIndex).
• Cloud AI experience on Azure, AWS or GCP (Azure preferred).
• Has designed or co-designed AI solution architectures, and contributed to estimates or proposals.
• Working knowledge of cloud security, cost management and ML fundamentals.
• Strong Python and good communication skills; comfortable with client-facing discussions.
• Willing to work onsite in Whitefield, Bangalore on UK shift hours.

Preferred skills

• 2+ years on the Azure AI ecosystem; Vertex AI or OpenAI exposure.
• Multi-agent systems, LLM fine-tuning, inference optimisation, advanced RAG (re-ranking, multi-vector indexing).
• MLOps/LLMOps, vector databases, AI landing zones and FinOps.
• Pre-sales or consulting experience; cloud certifications (e.g. AI-102).
• 8+ years of experience.
