Job summary

HabileLabs is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design and deploy production-grade Voice AI agents in Jaipur. You will build real-time conversational pipelines using STT, TTS, LLMs, and AI agents, and own end-to-end backend services.

The role requires strong Python expertise, hands-on experience with FastAPI/Flask, and familiarity with RAG, memory handling, and telemetry to ensure low latency and high reliability in voice-enabled applications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years backend development experience in Python.
• Proven experience deploying Voice AI Agents in production.
• Strong expertise in STT, TTS, LLM integrations, and conversational AI systems.
• Experience with FastAPI or Flask.
• Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or similar LLM platforms.
• Strong understanding of RAG, prompt engineering, memory handling, and AI agents.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, Docker, and CI/CD.
• Strong system design and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer with hands-on experience in building and deploying production-grade Voice AI Agents.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in:

• Speech-to-Text (STT) & Text-to-Speech (TTS)
• Real-time conversational AI systems
• LLMs, RAG & AI Agents
• Voice orchestration & low-latency systems
• Telephony and web-based voice applications

You will work on scalable AI-native voice products involving intelligent automation, conversational workflows, and enterprise-grade Voice AI systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and deploy scalable Voice AI systems and backend services.
• Design real-time conversational pipelines using STT, TTS, LLMs, and AI agents.
• Work on:

• Telephony and web voice integrations

• Implement evaluation and observability layers including:
• Tracing & monitoring
• Prompt/version evaluation
• Hallucination monitoring
• Call analytics
• Voice quality metrics
• Conversation QA
• Fallback and recovery systems
• Optimize scalability, reliability, and performance of Voice AI systems.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering best practices.

REQUIREMENTS

Must-Have

• 5+ years of backend development experience in Python.
